Is the Women’s Hamelin -9°C a good cold-weather backpacking bag?
For certain applications, yes. The limiting factor will be the packed size. If volume is critical, a down bag such as the Women's Ascent could be a better choice for you.
Is the Hamelin machine washable?
In a front-loader machine, yes. A top-loader machine with an agitator can be hard on lightweight gear and is not recommended.
Can a Women's Hamelin be zipped to a Unisex Hamelin?
Hamelins are not designed to be zipped together; This would require a separate side zipper and footbox zipper. Check out the Trek or Ascent bags for options that can be coupled.
